It was a pleasure visiting the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club at Oakman High School and speaking with a marketing class about effective marketing, presentation skills, brand building, and the importance of customer service. We also discussed the difference between national corporate brands that invest heavily in employee training and those that do not, as well as how small businesses often lack the luxury of corporate resources—making it essential that you are your brand and that customer service remains a top priority.
I look forward to seeing FBLA students compete at the state conference in Mobile later this month. Business and education need to talk to one another. These young people are our future. As Lieutenant Governor, I want to ensure that every Alabamian, from the high school student to the veteran, has a clear path to a good paying job. Together, we can Build a Better Alabama. #Our67 #OakmanAL #WalkerCounty
