Meet Nicole Jones Wadsworth

We are making history in the state of Alabama. When members of a community have the opportunity to collaborate, cities and towns are built.
Nicole Jones Wadsworth, PhD, MBA, MS
Nicole Jones Wadsworth has dedicated her life to building Alabama’s communities. Like President Trump, Nicole built her business as a commercial real estate developer and site selector, bringing a sharp, no-nonsense, business-oriented approach to every project she takes on. Nicole Jones Wadsworth understands how to recruit and retain jobs, strengthen local economies, and create a climate where businesses thrive.
Dr. Nicole Jones Wadsworth’s career involves the negotiation of complex economic development projects and commercial real estate transactions. Nicole earned four degrees and two professional certifications focused on business, contracts, and economic development. A pioneer in her field, Nicole was the first person from Huntsville/North Alabama and part of the first group in the state to earn the EDAA Leadership Institute Certificate. Her business acumen and experience in the field gives Nicole the expertise to navigate competitive national and global markets and position Alabama for sustained success.
Nicole Jones Wadsworth is not tied down by political games or career politicians; her focus is on results and building a better Alabama. With two decades in site selection for office, medical, and manufacturing facilities, Nicole knows what it takes to attract industry, cut through bureaucracy, and deliver real growth for Alabama. As Lieutenant Governor, Nicole will bring the same business-minded, results-driven leadership that made her successful in the private sector to the public square, which will ensure that Alabama remains competitive and prosperous for generations to come.
Nicole Jones Wadsworth is a conservative business leader and stateswoman. Over the years, Nicole has made a concerted effort to visit communities and organizations throughout our state as a method to share best practices. By visiting all of Alabama’s 67 counties more than 25 times on her own dime, Nicole Jones Wadsworth learned how to better position communities in both urban and rural areas for growth.
Faith, family, and community-building are Nicole's Life's Work. Nicole's husband, Attorney and State Representative Tim Wadsworth, works diligently to bring jobs, healthcare, and community development to House District 14. Legacy is an integral part of her core, and Nicole Jones Wadsworth instills the values of hard work and servant leadership upon their children, who often accompany them to projects and volunteer opportunities.
Nicole Jones Wadsworth brings to the table the same qualities that made her successful in business—professionalism, grit, and the ability to cut through red tape. She knows that building prosperity means lifting people out of poverty, getting people healthy, and creating pathways to meaningful employment.
Nicole Jones Wadsworth knows what it takes to get the job done. She is a former Alabama Federation of Republican Women (AFRW) board member and has served on numerous boards and committees in the areas of business, philanthropy, and conservative causes. Nicole has volunteered with the Donald J. Trump campaign for all three of his elections, which included two deployments to battleground states.
Nicole built her career outside of politics, and she will use that experience to deliver bold, business-oriented leadership with the professionalism, vision, and results-driven mindset Alabama needs. Together we can be confident with Nicole Jones Wadsworth as our next Lieutenant Governor.
